A round-robin tournament is held in the group league
of Euro 2004, a victory is given and, as for a draw, one point is
given 3 point. 2 teams of higher ranks of each group advance to
the quarterfinal of a final tournament. A winner advances to a semifinal
and the final.
In a group league, when a point is the same, the team which won
by direct confrontation is winning. When direct confrontation
is a draw, determination and when still not being decided, ranking
is decided by the penalty shootout or the lottery in order of
a profit points-lost difference, the total points, the primary
result of the World Cup 2002 and Euro 2004, and fair play ranking.
